Why World Bipolar Day Matters

World Bipolar Day is more than a date on the calendar—it is a global movement to increase understanding, challenge misconceptions, and support those affected by bipolar disorder. Whether through attending an event, sharing a story, or simply learning more, everyone can play a role in building a more informed and compassionate community.

For organisations and individuals in Australia, including those connected with CORE-BD, participating in these global conversations helps strengthen local awareness and reinforces that support extends far beyond borders.

CORE-BD Celebration: Bipolar Life Event in South Yarra

To mark World Bipolar Day, CORE-BD is proudly supporting a full-day community event with Bipolar Life on Sunday, 29 March 2026 at the Mental Health Foundation Australia Offices in South Yarra.

This special gathering focuses on connection, learning, and celebration. The program features panel discussions, interactive activities, food, and trivia, creating a welcoming space for people living with bipolar disorder, as well as family members, friends, carers, and professionals. Festivities begin at 11:00am and continue throughout the day.

This event is CORE-BD’s flagship way of celebrating World Bipolar Day locally, highlighting its commitment to community engagement, education, and peer support.
