CORE-BD celebrated its kickoff meeting in Melbourne in August 2023, bringing together the CORE-BD investigators and research partners for their first in person gathering. The day began with an introduction to CORE-BD by the centre’s director, Professor Sue Cotton, followed by presentations from CORE-BD investigators providing updates regarding current research. These interesting presentations fuelled discussions regarding potential collaborative opportunities for CORE-BD over the coming years.
