ISBD 2024 was a great a great success for our CORE-BD team! A large group of researchers from CORE-BD flew to Reykjavik to attend the 26th annual conference of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders (ISBD). The three-day conference was a great opportunity for our researchers to come together and to meet with other researchers, clinicians, students, and people with lived experience from around the world. Ten of our CORE-BD researchers presented findings from their research focused on early intervention for bipolar disorder. A resounding theme across presentations from people with lived experience of bipolar disorder was the need to work towards reducing delays in diagnosis. Outside of the conference, the scenery was truely spectacular.
